Generalized Holographic and Ricci Dark Energy Models
Lixin Xu, Jianbo Lu, Wenbo Li

TL;DR
This paper introduces a generalized framework for holographic and Ricci dark energy models using functions of dimensionless variables, and analyzes their observational viability and equivalence.
Contribution
It proposes a unified generalized model for holographic and Ricci dark energy, exploring their interrelations and observational constraints with specific functional forms.
Findings
Ricci-like dark energy is more favored than holographic dark energy.
The models show equivalence under certain parameter choices.
A combined dark energy component is suggested as a linear combination of Ricci and holographic terms.
Abstract
In this paper, we consider generalized holographic and Ricci dark energy models where the energy densities are given as and respectively, here are positive defined functions of dimensionless variables or . It is interesting that holographic and Ricci dark energy densities are recovered or recovered interchangeably when the function or is taken respectively (for example , respectively). Also, when is taken, the Ricci and holographic dark energy models are equivalents to a generalized one. When the simple forms and are taken as examples, by using current cosmic observational data, generalized dark energy models are researched. As expected, in…
