Zhiheng Li, Li Li, Yudong Chen, Yi Zhang

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that, at high resolution, quantization errors in fractional Gaussian noise and fractional Brownian motion signals can be modeled as uncorrelated white noise, simplifying analysis and processing.
Contribution
It introduces a high-resolution assumption to model quantization errors of fGn and fBm signals as uncorrelated white noise.
Findings
Quantization errors behave as white noise at high resolution.
The model simplifies analysis of fGn and fBm signals.
Assumption holds under uniform quantization.
Abstract
In this Letter, we show that under the assumption of high resolution, the quantization errors of fGn and fBm signals with uniform quantizer can be treated as uncorrelated white noises.
