Entanglement entropy in free quantum field theory
H.Casini, M.Huerta

TL;DR
This review discusses methods for calculating entanglement entropy in free quantum field theories, covering Euclidean and real-time approaches, with explicit examples in multiple spatial dimensions.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of techniques and explicit calculations for entanglement entropy in free fields across various dimensions.
Findings
Methods for calculating entanglement entropy in free fields are systematically presented.
Explicit examples of entanglement entropy calculations are provided in multiple dimensions.
Abstract
In this review we first introduce the general methods to calculate the entanglement entropy for free fields, within the Euclidean and the real time formalisms. Then we describe the particular examples which have been worked out explicitly in two, three and more dimensions.
