Status Report on Double Chooz
A.Portaa (for the Double Chooz collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the progress of the Double Chooz experiment, which aims to measure the neutrino oscillation parameter Theta13 by comparing fluxes at two detectors near nuclear reactors.
Contribution
It provides an update on the design, construction status, and expected sensitivity of the near detector for the Double Chooz neutrino experiment.
Findings
Far detector under construction
Near detector design completed
Sensitivity analysis discussed
Abstract
Double Chooz main target is to measure Theta13 oscillation parameter by comparing reactor neutrino fluxes in two identical detectors located respectively at 400 m and 1 km away from the 2 Chooz reactor cores. The far detector is now under construction, while we have just completed the design phase of the near one. In this report I will discuss the detector principle, sensitivity and its present construction status.
