Gauge Invariant Treatment of $\gamma_{5}$ in the Scheme of 't Hooft and Veltman
Er-Cheng Tsai

TL;DR
This paper introduces a simple method to handle the gamma_5 matrix in dimensional regularization, ensuring gauge invariance is preserved in the scheme of 't Hooft and Veltman.
Contribution
It proposes moving all gamma_5 matrices to the rightmost position before continuation to higher dimensions, maintaining gauge invariance.
Findings
The method preserves gauge invariance in dimensional regularization.
It simplifies the treatment of gamma_5 in gauge theories.
The approach is consistent with the original scheme of 't Hooft and Veltman.
Abstract
We propose moving all the matrices to the rightmost position before continuing the dimension, and show that this simple prescription will enable the dimension regularization scheme proposed by 't Hooft and Veltman to be consistent with gauge invariance.
