Comments on "Anomalous Hydrodynamic Drafting of Interacting Flapping Flags"
Guanghua Zhu

TL;DR
This paper critiques a previous study on flapping flags by highlighting potential calibration errors caused by interference effects, which may have affected the accuracy of their measurements.
Contribution
It provides a critical analysis of the calibration methods used in the original study, emphasizing the importance of accounting for interference effects.
Findings
Calibration procedures may have been incomplete due to interference effects.
Measurement errors could have influenced the original results.
Highlights the need for improved calibration in similar experiments.
Abstract
We make remarks on Ristroph and Zhang's [{\it Phys. Rev. Lett.} {\bf 101}, 194502 (2008)] paper. We argue especially that due to the interferences the calibration procedures in [1] were not complete and this will induce some measurements' error.
