Michael Lage, Ulf-G. Mei{\ss}ner, Akaki Rusetsky

TL;DR
This paper introduces a lattice QCD method to measure the antikaon-nucleon scattering length, including inelastic effects, and to locate the Lambda(1405) resonance pole.
Contribution
It generalizes L"uscher's approach to inelastic channels and enables determination of the complex scattering length and resonance pole positions.
Findings
Proposes a new lattice method for inelastic scattering
Allows extraction of complex scattering lengths
Enables locating the Lambda(1405) resonance pole
Abstract
We propose a method to determine the isoscalar \bar K N scattering length on the lattice. Our method represents the generalization of L\"uscher's approach in the presence of inelastic channels (complex scattering length). In addition, the proposed approach allows one to find the position of the S-matrix pole corresponding the the Lambda(1405) resonance.
