Vito Di Benedetto, John Hauptman, Anna Mazzacane

TL;DR
This paper discusses the 4th detector's advanced particle identification capabilities using multiple measurement systems, enhancing the ability to identify all standard model partons.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive detector integrating dual-readout calorimeters, cluster-timing tracking, and muon spectrometry for improved particle identification.
Findings
13 measurement systems enable complete standard model parton identification
Enhanced particle discrimination accuracy
Integration of multiple detection methods improves reliability
Abstract
The 4th detector is rich in particle identification measurements from the dual-readout calorimeters, the cluster-timing tracking chamber, the muon spectrometer, and combinations of these systems. In all, a total of 13 measurements contribute to the identification of all partons of the standard model.
