Quantum wave packets in space and time and an improved criterion for classical behavior
C. L. Herzenberg

TL;DR
This paper develops an improved criterion for distinguishing classical and quantum behavior by comparing measures of size with spatial and temporal restrictions on wave packets.
Contribution
It introduces a new criterion that incorporates spatial and temporal limitations to better differentiate classical from quantum regimes.
Findings
Enhanced criterion for classical-quantum distinction
Incorporates spatial and temporal restrictions on wave packets
Provides a more accurate boundary between classical and quantum behavior
Abstract
An improved criterion for distinguishing conditions in which classical or quantum behavior occurs is developed by comparing classical and quantum mechanical measures of size while incorporating spatial and temporal restrictions on wave packet formation associated with limitations on spatial extent and duration.
