Universal structure of subleading infrared poles at strong coupling
Luis F. Alday

TL;DR
This paper uses AdS/CFT correspondence to verify a universal formula for subleading infrared divergences in N=4 SYM at strong coupling, highlighting the universal and non-eikonal contributions.
Contribution
It provides a strong coupling check of a conjectured universal structure of subleading infrared poles in conformal gauge theories using holography.
Findings
Confirmed the universal eikonal contribution at strong coupling.
Identified the non-eikonal contribution related to twist-two operators.
Supported the conjecture's validity at strong coupling.
Abstract
Recently a concise expression for the subleading infrared singularity of dimensional-regularized gauge theories has been proposed. For conformal theories, such relation involves a universal eikonal contribution plus a non-eikonal contribution, related to the subleading term in the anomalous dimension of twist two operators with large spin. In this note we make use of the AdS/CFT correspondence in order to check such conjecture at strong coupling for the case of N=4 SYM.
