Deconfinement and Thermodynamics in 5D Holographic Models of QCD
Umut Gursoy

TL;DR
This paper reviews 5D holographic models of QCD at finite temperature, analyzing their thermodynamic properties and improvements over traditional models to better mimic real QCD behavior.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of the thermodynamics in hard-wall, soft-wall, and improved holographic QCD models, highlighting advancements over previous approaches.
Findings
Thermodynamic properties derived for hard-wall and soft-wall models.
Improved holographic QCD addresses non-realistic features of earlier models.
Enhanced understanding of finite temperature QCD via holography.
Abstract
We review 5D holographic approaches to finite temperature QCD. Thermodynamic properties of the "hard-wall" and the "soft-wall" models are derived. Various non-realistic features in these models are cured by the set-up of improved holographic QCD, that we review here.
