Ailin Zhang

TL;DR
This paper investigates possible quark model assignments for the mesons $D_{s1}(2700)^\u00b1$ and $D_{sJ}(2860)$, exploring their nature as orbitally or radially excited $car s$ states and predicting related states and relations.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of the possible quark configurations of $D_{s1}(2700)^\u00b1$ and $D_{sJ}(2860)$, including implications for other excited states and chiral doubling.
Findings
Both orbitally and radially excited $car s$ assignments are possible.
Predictions of additional excited states like $D_{s2}(2800)$ and $D^\u00b0_{s1}(2973)$.
Evidence for chiral doubling in radially excited $D_s$ states.
Abstract
Possible assignments of and in the conventional quark model are analyzed. The study indicates that both the orbitally excited and the radially excited are possible. Some implications to these assignments are explored. If and are the orbitally excited D-wave and , respectively, another orbitally excited D-wave , , is expected. If and are the first radially excited and , respectively, other two radially excited and are expected. and are mixing states. The chiral doubling relation may exist in radially excited , the splitting between the parity partners(the…
