Sebastian Hollenberg, Heinrich P\"as

TL;DR
This paper explores how matter effects and violations of CPT and Lorentz symmetry influence active-sterile neutrino oscillations, predicting new resonant behaviors that could explain existing neutrino anomalies.
Contribution
It introduces a novel framework considering matter and symmetry-violating effects with different energy dependences in neutrino oscillations, offering new phenomenological insights.
Findings
Predicts novel resonant neutrino oscillation behaviors
Suggests explanations for LSND and MiniBooNE anomalies
Identifies experimentally accessible signatures
Abstract
We investigate resonant active-sterile neutrino oscillations emergent from the interplay between matter, CPT- and Lorentz-violating coefficients with different energy dependences. Novel and experimentally accessible resonant neutrino oscillation phenomenologies are predicted and possible implications for observed, but yet unexplained, neutrino oscillation anomalies such as LSND and MiniBooNE are discussed.
