TL;DR
This paper develops a theoretical framework for describing hard exclusive processes involving transversally polarized rho mesons beyond leading twist, using a twist 3 approximation and light-cone expansion.
Contribution
It introduces a novel twist 3 approximation method for analyzing exclusive rho(T) meson production in QCD.
Findings
Provides a detailed twist 3 analysis of rho(T) meson production.
Extends the theoretical understanding of exclusive processes beyond leading twist.
Offers a new approach based on light-cone Taylor expansion.
Abstract
We describe hard exclusive processes involving a transversally polarized rho meson in the twist 3 approximation, in a framework based on the Taylor expansion of the amplitude around the dominant light-cone direction.
