Horava-Lifshitz Cosmology
Elias Kiritsis (U. of Crete), Georgios Kofinas (U. of Crete)

TL;DR
This paper explores Horava-Lifshitz cosmology, highlighting its potential to provide alternatives to inflation and avoid singularities in the early universe through modified gravitational equations.
Contribution
It analyzes the cosmological implications of Horava-Lifshitz gravity, proposing it as a viable alternative to standard inflationary models and singularity resolution.
Findings
Early universe features may replace inflation
Theory can potentially avoid cosmological singularities
Modified equations lead to new cosmological dynamics
Abstract
The cosmological equations suggested by the non-relativistic renormalizable gravitational theory proposed by Ho\v{r}ava are considered. It is pointed out that the early universe cosmology has features that may give an alternative to inflation and the theory may be able to escape singularities.
