TL;DR
This paper discusses the comparative sensitivity of CoGeNT, CDMS, and DAMA experiments to dark pseudoscalars and explores an alternative dark matter explanation for DAMA's observed modulation.
Contribution
It provides clarification on the sensitivity differences among key dark matter detection experiments and considers an alternative dark matter origin for DAMA's modulation.
Findings
Clarifies the sensitivity of CoGeNT, CDMS, and DAMA to dark pseudoscalars
Suggests an alternative dark matter explanation for DAMA's modulation
Provides insights into experimental detection capabilities
Abstract
We offer a few remarks that should help clarify the relative sensitivity of CoGeNT, CDMS and DAMA to dark pseudoscalars. An alternative dark matter origin for the DAMA modulation is briefly mentioned within this context.
