Scalar, axial-vector and tensor resonances from the rho D^*, omega D^* interaction in the hidden gauge formalism
R. Molina, H. Nagahiro, A. Hosaka, E. Oset

TL;DR
This paper investigates the interactions of light and heavy vector mesons using the hidden gauge formalism, predicting bound states that correspond to known mesons and ruling out exotic states in certain isospin channels.
Contribution
The study applies the hidden gauge formalism to predict meson bound states from rho, omega, and D* interactions, identifying some with known resonances and excluding others.
Findings
Strong attraction in specific isospin-spin channels leads to bound states.
Predicted states match known mesons D_2^*(2460) and possibly D^*(2640).
No exotic mesons are generated in the I=3/2 sector.
Abstract
We study composite systems of light ( and ) and heavy () vector mesons by using the interaction within the hidden gauge formalism. We find a strong attraction in the isospin, spin channels ; ; with positive parity. The attraction is large enough to strongly bind these mesons in states with these quantum numbers, leading to states which can be identified with and probably with , the last one without experimental spin and parity assignment. In the case of one obtains repulsion and thus, no exotic mesons in this sector are generated in the approach.
