C.A. Bertulani

TL;DR
This paper revisits meson production cross sections in ultra-peripheral heavy ion collisions at the LHC, discussing meson models, exotic QCD states, and including previously unconsidered states.
Contribution
It introduces analysis of meson production at the LHC with new states not previously studied, expanding understanding of meson behavior and exotic QCD states.
Findings
Revised meson production cross sections at LHC energies.
Identification of new meson states in ultra-peripheral collisions.
Discussion on the relevance of meson models and exotic QCD states.
Abstract
Meson production cross sections in ultra-peripheral relativistic heavy ion collisions at LHC are revisited. The relevance of meson models and of exotic QCD states is discussed. This study includes states that have not been considered before in the literature.
