TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of scalar fields in a warped AdS_3 black hole background, analyzing the spectrum of normal modes and exploring boundary conditions within topologically massive gravity.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of scalar field normal modes and considers more general boundary conditions beyond the brick wall approach in warped AdS_3 black holes.
Findings
Normal mode spectrum characterized using brick wall boundary conditions
Exploration of more general boundary conditions for scalar fields
Insights into scalar field dynamics in warped AdS_3 backgrounds
Abstract
We study the normal modes of a scalar field in the background of a warped AdS_3 black hole which arises in topologically massive gravity. We discuss the normal mode spectrum using the brick wall boundary condition. In addition, we investigate the possibility of a more general boundary condition for the scalar field.
