Real-time Texture Error Detection
Dan Laurentiu Lacrama, Florin Alexa, Adriana Balta

TL;DR
This paper presents an improved real-time method for detecting texture errors in textile production, specifically targeting mono-color 3D textured fabrics, addressing the challenges of complex 3D textures.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach tailored for real-time detection of 3D mono-color texture errors in textiles, advancing beyond existing 2D methods.
Findings
Effective real-time detection of 3D texture errors
Enhanced accuracy for mono-color textured fabrics
Applicable to industrial textile production environments
Abstract
This paper advocates an improved solution for real-time error detection of texture errors that occurs in the production process in textile industry. The research is focused on the mono-color products with 3D texture model (Jaquard fabrics). This is a more difficult task than, for example, 2D multicolor textures.
