Contribution
It introduces a new perspective on magnon BEC in superfluid 3He-A, comparing it with 3He-B and discussing the implications of recent experimental observations.
Findings
Identification of a new magnetization precession mode in 3He-A
Comparison of magnon BEC states in 3He-A and 3He-B
Discussion of experimental implications for superfluid quantum states
Abstract
The new mode of magnetization precession in superfluid 3He-A in a squeezed aerogel has been recently reported. We consider this mode in terms of the Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) of magnons. The difference between magnon BEC states in 3He-A and in 3He-B is discussed.
