K. Nakayama, Yongseok Oh, H. Haberzettl

TL;DR
This paper investigates the production mechanisms of eta and eta-prime mesons in photon- and hadron-induced reactions using an effective Lagrangian approach to understand the role of nucleon resonances.
Contribution
It provides a combined analysis of eta and eta-prime production mechanisms in both photon- and hadron-induced reactions, highlighting the role of nucleon resonances.
Findings
Identified key production mechanisms for eta and eta-prime mesons.
Clarified the role of nucleon resonances in these reactions.
Provided insights into the underlying dynamics of meson production.
Abstract
The production of and mesons in photon- and hadron-induced reactions are studied in a combined analysis based on an effective Lagrangian approach in order to learn about the relevant production mechanisms and the possible role of nucleon resonances in these reactions.
