D. Djukanovic, J. Gegelia, A. Keller, S. Scherer

TL;DR
This paper applies complex-mass renormalization within chiral effective field theory to compute properties of vector mesons, specifically focusing on the rho meson’s mass and width.
Contribution
It introduces the use of complex-mass renormalization in chiral effective field theory for vector mesons, providing a new approach to calculating their properties.
Findings
Calculated the rho meson mass and width using the method.
Demonstrated the effectiveness of complex-mass renormalization in low-energy EFT.
Provided a framework for future studies of vector mesons.
Abstract
We consider a low-energy effective field theory of vector mesons and Goldstone bosons using the complex-mass renormalization. As an application we calculate the mass and the width of the meson.
