Electric quadrupole and magnetic octupole moments of the Delta
G. Ramalho, M.T. Pena, Franz Gross

TL;DR
This paper predicts the electric quadrupole and magnetic octupole moments of the Delta+ baryon using a covariant spectator quark model, providing insights into its internal structure.
Contribution
It introduces a covariant spectator quark model to calculate higher multipole moments of the Delta+ baryon, a novel approach in this context.
Findings
Electric quadrupole moment: -0.043 efm^2
Magnetic octupole moment: -0.0035 efm^3
Provides theoretical predictions for Delta+ moments
Abstract
Using a covariant spectator constituent quark model we predict an electric quadrupole moment -0.043 efm^2 and a magnetic octupole moment -0.0035 efm^3 for the Delta+ excited state of the nucleon.
