Mechanical Models for Higher Spin Gauge Fields
Anders K. H. Bengtsson

TL;DR
This paper revisits a classical mechanical model based on a two-particle relativistic harmonic oscillator to understand higher spin gauge fields, exploring different space-time perspectives for their propagation and interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a mechanical framework for higher spin gauge fields and discusses multiple space-time interpretations of their dynamics and interactions.
Findings
Mechanical model for higher spin fields proposed
Different space-time pictures analyzed for propagation
Insights into interactions of higher spin gauge fields
Abstract
Returning to an old idea of a certain two-particle relativistic harmonic oscillator as an underlying mechanical model for higher spin gauge fields, various space-time pictures are discussed for the propagation and the interactions.
