Changing the past by forgetting
Saibal Mitra

TL;DR
This paper explores how memory erasure, under the Many Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics, can lead to ending up in a different multiverse sector with altered memories.
Contribution
It introduces a novel perspective linking memory erasure to multiverse sector transitions within the MWI framework.
Findings
Memory erasure can cause a shift to a different multiverse sector.
Memory content can be altered through quantum processes.
Theoretical implications for understanding memory and quantum mechanics.
Abstract
Assuming the validity of the Many Worlds Interpretation (MWI) of quantum mechanics, we show that memory erasure can cause one to end up in a different sector of the multiverse where the contents of the erased memory is different.
