Relations between Kauffman and Homfly satellite invariants
H R Morton, N D A Ryder

TL;DR
This paper generalizes a mod 2 relation between Kauffman and Homfly polynomials to their satellite invariants, expanding understanding of their algebraic connections.
Contribution
It extends Rudolph's mod 2 relation from polynomials to the broader context of satellite invariants, revealing deeper links between these knot invariants.
Findings
Established a general mod 2 relation for satellite invariants
Connected Kauffman and Homfly invariants in a new way
Enhanced understanding of knot polynomial relationships
Abstract
We extend a mod 2 relation between the Kauffman and Homfly polynomials, first observed by Rudolph in 1987, to the general Kauffman and Homfly satellite invariants.
