TL;DR
This paper explores approaches to formulating noncommutative gravity theories, focusing on maintaining diffeomorphism symmetry and connections with two-dimensional gravity models, aimed at making the concepts accessible to non-experts.
Contribution
It discusses potential methods for constructing noncommutative gravity that preserve key symmetries and relates these ideas to 2D gravity, offering a conceptual overview.
Findings
Identifies challenges in realizing full diffeomorphism symmetry in noncommutative gravity
Proposes possible frameworks for noncommutative gravity models
Establishes links between noncommutative gravity and 2D gravity theories
Abstract
In this short article accessible for non-experts I discuss possible ways of constructing a non-commutative gravity paying special attention to possibilities of realizing the full diffeomorphism symmetry and to relations with 2D gravities.
