Study of the Top Quark FCNC
M. Mohammadi Najafabadi, N. Tazik

TL;DR
This paper investigates how flavor-changing neutral couplings involving the top quark contribute to the charm quark's electric dipole moment and uses experimental limits to constrain these couplings.
Contribution
It provides new bounds on top-charm FCNC couplings based on their effects on the charm quark electric dipole moment.
Findings
Limits on top-charm FCNC couplings derived from electric dipole moment constraints
Quantitative bounds improve understanding of top quark flavor-changing interactions
Analysis of one-loop contributions to charm quark EDM
Abstract
We study the one-loop contribution of the effective flavor changing neutral couplings (FCNC) to the charm quark electric dipole moment. Using the known limits on the top and charm quarks electric dipole moments, we place limits on these FCNC anomalous couplings.
