TL;DR
This paper provides detailed pair distribution functions for a two-dimensional electron gas with two symmetric valleys, using quantum Monte Carlo simulations across various densities and spin polarizations.
Contribution
It offers the first component-resolved pair distribution functions for a 2DEG with two symmetric valleys, advancing understanding of electron correlations in such systems.
Findings
Component-resolved pair distribution functions obtained.
Dependence of functions on density and spin polarization analyzed.
Results enhance modeling of valley-degenerate 2DEGs.
Abstract
We present component-resolved and total pair distribution functions for a 2DEG with two symmetric valleys. Our results are based on quantum Monte Carlo simulations performed at several densities and spin polarizations.
