Flavour tag studies with the LCFIVertex package
Roberval Walsh

TL;DR
This paper evaluates the flavour tagging performance of the LCFIVertex package for the LDCPrime detector model, focusing on track selection and beam background effects to optimize the ILD detector configuration.
Contribution
It presents the current status of flavour tagging performance and studies the impact of track selection and beam backgrounds using the LCFIVertex package.
Findings
Performance metrics for flavour tagging are assessed.
Effects of beam backgrounds on tagging accuracy are analyzed.
Recommendations for detector optimization are discussed.
Abstract
In this contribution the status of the flavour tagging performance for the LDCPrime detector model and studies of the track selection parameters and effects from beam backgrounds in flavour tagging using the LCFIVertex package are presented. This work is part of an effort towards a default configuration for the ILD detector optimisation.
