TL;DR
This paper presents a method for measuring beam sizes at the ILC's interaction point using Pair Monitor and BeamCal, achieving high accuracy in a limited number of bunch crossings.
Contribution
It introduces a combined measurement approach using Pair Monitor and BeamCal to accurately determine beam sizes at the ILC.
Findings
Achieved 2.7% accuracy for horizontal beam size.
Achieved 6.6% accuracy for vertical beam size.
Validated measurement method with 50 bunch crossings.
Abstract
At the International Linear Collider (ILC), measurement of the beam profile at the interaction point (IP) is a key issue to achieve high luminosity. We studied the beam size measurement by combination of Pair Monitor and BeamCal. We obtained measurement accuracies of 2.7%, and 6.6% for the horizontal, and vertical beam sizes, respectively, for 50 bunch crossings.
