Symplectic dynamics of the nuclear mean-field
M. Grigorescu

TL;DR
This paper presents a variational approach to understanding the symplectic dynamics of the nuclear mean-field, focusing on low energy collective modes and their microscopic structures, especially in isovector states.
Contribution
It introduces a restricted variational method to analyze nuclear mean-field dynamics, emphasizing the microscopic structure of collective modes in deformed and superfluid nuclei.
Findings
Microscopic structure of low energy collective modes elucidated.
Application to isovector states in deformed nuclei.
Insights into proton-neutron interaction effects.
Abstract
Elements of a restricted variational approach to the nuclear mean-field dynamics, providing the microscopic structure of the low energy collective modes, are summarized. The results are illustrated for the isovector states produced by the proton-neutron interactions in deformed and superfluid nuclei.
