TL;DR
This study investigates the surface chemical spots of HgMn stars, specifically AR Aur, using Doppler Imaging to explore potential links with weak magnetic fields and their topologies.
Contribution
It applies Doppler Imaging to map chemical distributions on AR Aur and discusses their relation to magnetic field structures, offering new insights into stellar surface phenomena.
Findings
Chemical spots are mapped on AR Aur's surface.
Potential correlation between chemical spots and magnetic field topology.
Provides new data on magnetic field influence on chemical distributions.
Abstract
We present the results of mapping the HgMn star AR Aur using the Doppler Imaging technique for several elements and discuss the obtained distributions in the framework of a magnetic field topology.
