A dark radiation era prior to the inflationary phase
Sergio del Campo, Ramon Herrera, Victor Cardenas

TL;DR
This paper proposes a cosmological model where a dark radiation-dominated era precedes inflation, based on a Randall-Sundrum II brane-world, with parameters constrained by current observational data.
Contribution
It introduces a novel early-universe scenario with a dark radiation phase before inflation within a brane-world framework.
Findings
Dark radiation era is compatible with current data.
Model constrains dark radiation parameters.
Pre-inflationary phase impacts cosmological evolution.
Abstract
A cosmological model dominated at the beginning by a dark radiation followed by a period of inflation is presented. This model is based on a Randall-Sundrum II type brane-world. Current observational data are used to fix the parameters associated to the dark radiation.
