TL;DR
This paper reviews heavy-flavor production at accelerators, providing cross sections and distributions for top, bottom, and charm quarks at various colliders, including NLO and soft-gluon corrections.
Contribution
It offers comprehensive calculations of heavy-flavor production incorporating complete NLO and higher-order soft-gluon corrections at multiple collider experiments.
Findings
Total cross sections for heavy quarks are presented.
Differential distributions are analyzed.
Higher-order corrections significantly impact predictions.
Abstract
I discuss heavy flavor production at hadronic facilities. I present total cross sections and differential distributions for top quark, bottom quark, and charm quark production at the Tevatron and LHC colliders, and at fixed-target experiments such as HERA-B. The calculations include complete next-to-leading order corrections as well as higher-order soft-gluon corrections which are important near kinematical threshold.
