Space-time Evolution of J/psi Production in High Energy Nuclear Collisions
Yunpeng Liu, Zhen Qu, Nu Xu, Pengfei Zhuang

TL;DR
This paper models the space-time development of J/psi particle production in high-energy gold-gold collisions, considering both dissociation and regeneration processes within a quark-gluon plasma.
Contribution
It introduces a transport model that incorporates gluon dissociation and continuous regeneration to study J/psi evolution in nuclear collisions.
Findings
J/psi production is significantly affected by dissociation and regeneration processes.
The model provides insights into the temporal development of J/psi yields.
Results help understand quark-gluon plasma properties through J/psi behavior.
Abstract
The space-time evolution of J/psi production in central Au+Au collisions at RHIC energy is investigated in a transport model. Both gluon dissociation and continuous regeneration of J/psis inside deconfined state are considered.
