Reflection and dips in elastic scattering
S.M. Troshin, N.E. Tyurin

TL;DR
This paper explores how reflective scattering influences elastic scattering at small and moderate momentum transfer, showing that the diffraction pattern persists but is altered.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of reflective scattering effects on elastic scattering and analyzes their impact on the diffraction pattern in angular distributions.
Findings
Reflective scattering modifies the elastic scattering diffraction pattern.
The diffraction pattern remains recognizable but is altered by reflective effects.
Reflective scattering effects are significant at small and moderate $-t$ values.
Abstract
We discuss how the reflective scattering would affect elastic scattering in the region of small and moderate values of , in particular, we demonstrate that diffractive pattern in the angular distribution will be kept in a modified form.
