Janusz Gwo\'zdziewicz, Andrzej Lenarcik, Arkadiusz P{\l}oski

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent results on polar invariants of plane curve singularities, emphasizing an intersection theoretical approach to understanding their properties and classifications.
Contribution
It introduces a new intersection theoretical framework for analyzing polar invariants in plane curve singularities, advancing the understanding of their structure.
Findings
Developed a novel intersection-based method for polar invariants
Provided new classifications of plane curve singularities using polar invariants
Connected polar invariants with intersection theory concepts
Abstract
This article, based on the talk given by one of the authors at the Pierrettefest in Castro Urdiales in June 2008, is an overview of a number of recent results on the polar invariants of plane curve singularities.
