C. Zhang, G.-C. Liu

TL;DR
This paper calculates gamma ray emissions from neutralino dark matter annihilation in galaxy cluster 1E0657-56, considering the cluster merger, to explore potential signals of dark matter detection.
Contribution
It presents the first calculation of gamma ray emission from neutralino dark matter in a merging galaxy cluster, incorporating the cluster merger dynamics.
Findings
Gamma ray emission levels estimated for the cluster
Impact of cluster merger on dark matter signals analyzed
Potential detectability of signals discussed
Abstract
Based on minimal supersymmetric standard model, neutralino dark matter annihilation induced gamma ray emission from galaxy cluster 1E0657-56 is calculated. The merge of bullet-like subcluster with the main cluster is also investigated.
