Cosmological constant influence on cosmic string spacetime
Amir H. Abbassi, Amir M. Abbassi

TL;DR
This paper studies how a cosmological constant affects the spacetime around a cosmic string, deriving a time-dependent metric and discussing its physical implications.
Contribution
It introduces a new time-dependent metric for cosmic string spacetime with a cosmological constant, addressing asymptotic issues in previous models.
Findings
Derived a consistent, time-dependent metric for cosmic string spacetime with cosmological constant
Showed the original static metric should be discarded due to asymptotic problems
Discussed physical properties of the new metric
Abstract
We investigate the line element of spacetime around a linear cosmic string in the presence of a cosmological constant. We obtain the metric and argue that it should be discarded because of asymptotic considerations. Then a time dependent and consistent form of the metric is obtained and its properties are discussed.
