TL;DR
This paper uses new experimental data to separate flip and non-flip components of the charge exchange process np->pn at energies between 0.5 and 2.0 GeV, enhancing understanding of nucleon interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a method to distinguish flip and non-flip parts of the charge exchange cross section using the Dean formula and new Delta-Sigma data, improving analysis accuracy.
Findings
Successful separation of flip and non-flip parts at zero angle.
Good agreement between PSA solutions and charge exchange data.
Enhanced understanding of nucleon charge exchange mechanisms.
Abstract
The new Delta-Sigma experimental data on the ratio allowed separating the Flip and Non-Flip parts of the differential cross section of charge exchange process at the zero angle by the Dean formula. The PSA solutions for the elastic scattering are transformed to the charge exchange representation using unitary transition, and good agreement is obtain.
