M-brane singularity formation
Jens Eggers, Jens Hoppe

TL;DR
This paper derives self-similar string solutions that describe singularity formation on M-branes, extending to point-like singularities and radially symmetric cases, providing insights into the behavior near singularities.
Contribution
It introduces a novel class of self-similar solutions for M-brane singularities, expanding understanding of their formation and structure.
Findings
Self-similar solutions describe singularity formation.
Solutions extend to point-like and radially symmetric singularities.
Provides a mathematical framework for analyzing M-brane singularities.
Abstract
We derive self-similar string solutions in a graph representation, near the point of singularity formation, which can be shown to extend to point-like singularities on M-branes, as well as to the radially symmetric case.
