TL;DR
This paper calculates the impact factor for the gamma* to rhoT transition, incorporating twist 3 effects and ensuring gauge invariance, which advances the theoretical understanding of exclusive processes involving transversally polarized vector mesons.
Contribution
It provides a gauge invariant, end-point singularity free calculation of the impact factor with twist 3 contributions, enabling consistent factorization in exclusive processes.
Findings
Impact factor computed with twist 3 contributions.
Gauge invariance achieved via QCD equations of motion.
Results free of end-point singularities.
Abstract
We evaluate the impact factor of the transition gamma* -> rhoT taking into account the twist 3 contributions. We show that a gauge invariant expression is obtained with the help of QCD equations of motion. Our results are free of end-point singularities. This opens the way to a consistent treatment of factorization for exclusive processes with a transversally polarized vector meson.
