I. P. Ivanov, J.-R. Cudell, A. Dechambre, O. Hernandez

TL;DR
This paper reevaluates the calculation of exclusive dijet production in hadronic collisions, highlighting the significant non-perturbative contributions and uncertainties affecting theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It provides a critical reassessment of the dominant factors in exclusive dijet production, emphasizing the importance of non-perturbative effects.
Findings
Perturbative contributions are not dominant in the process.
Multiple sources of uncertainties significantly impact the calculation.
Non-perturbative effects play a crucial role in the production mechanism.
Abstract
We critically re-examine the calculation of central production of dijets in quasi-elastic hadronic collisions. We find that the process is not dominated by the perturbative contribution, and discuss several sources of uncertainties in the calculation.
