Local energy estimate on Kerr black hole backgrounds
Daniel Tataru, Mihai Tohaneanu

TL;DR
This paper investigates the dispersive behavior of waves in Kerr black hole backgrounds with small angular momentum, establishing uniform energy bounds and local energy decay.
Contribution
It provides the first proof of uniform energy bounds and local energy decay for wave equations on Kerr backgrounds with small angular momentum.
Findings
Proves uniform energy bounds for wave solutions.
Establishes local energy decay in Kerr spacetime.
Applicable to Kerr black holes with small angular momentum.
Abstract
We study dispersive properties for the wave equation in the Kerr space-time with small angular momentum. The main result of thispaper is to establish uniform energy bounds and local energy decay for such backgrounds.
