Lixin Xu, Wenbo Li, Jianbo Lu, Baorong Chang

TL;DR
This study tests the Ricci dark energy model against observational data, finding it to be a viable dark energy candidate with specific best-fit parameters, using a maximum likelihood approach.
Contribution
It provides the first comprehensive observational constraints on the Ricci dark energy model, establishing its viability with specific parameter estimates.
Findings
Ricci dark energy fits observational data well
Best-fit parameters are $oxed{ ext{Ω}_{m0}=0.34 extpm 0.04}$ and $oxed{ ext{α}=0.38 extpm 0.03}$
Model is consistent with current cosmological observations
Abstract
In this paper, a holographic dark energy model, dubbed Ricci dark energy, is confronted with cosmological observational data from type Ia supernovae (SN Ia), baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) and cosmic microwave background (CMB). By using maximum likelihood method, it is found out that Ricci dark energy model is a viable candidate of dark energy model with the best fit parameters: , with error. Here, is a dimensionless parameter related with Ricci dark energy and Ricci scalar , i.e., .
