L.P. Kaptari, B. Kampfer

TL;DR
This paper investigates eta and eta-prime meson production in nucleon-nucleon collisions near threshold energies using a one-boson exchange model, highlighting potential experimental access to transition form factors.
Contribution
It introduces a theoretical framework for studying meson production near thresholds and suggests experimental methods to access transition form factors.
Findings
Feasibility of experimental access to transition form factors.
Application of one-boson exchange model to meson production.
Insights into near-threshold meson production mechanisms.
Abstract
The production of eta and eta-prime mesons in nucleon-nucleon collisions near thresholds is considered within a one-boson exchange model. We show the feasibility of an experimental access to transition formfactors.
