Twisted mass QCD and the FNAL heavy quark formalism
Craig McNeile

TL;DR
This paper explores incorporating a twisted mass term into the FNAL heavy quark formalism at tree level, revealing that at maximal twist, the KLM factor becomes independent of the heavy mass, simplifying calculations.
Contribution
It introduces a modification to the FNAL heavy quark formalism with a twisted mass term and analyzes its effects at maximal twist.
Findings
KLM factor is independent of heavy mass at maximal twist
Modification simplifies heavy quark calculations
Tree-level analysis of twisted mass inclusion
Abstract
At tree level, I discuss modifying the FNAL heavy quark formalism to include a twisted mass term. I find that at maximal twist the so called KLM factor is independent of the heavy mass.
