Measurements of Photon Plus Heavy Flavor Jet Cross Sections
D. Duggan

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of photon plus heavy flavor jet production cross sections at the Tevatron, comparing experimental data with next-to-leading order theoretical predictions to test QCD models.
Contribution
First measurements of photon + c jet and photon + b jet cross sections at Tevatron energies with detailed comparison to NLO QCD predictions.
Findings
Measured cross sections for photon + c jet and photon + b jet production.
Data generally agree with NLO theoretical predictions within uncertainties.
Provides valuable data for testing QCD and heavy flavor production models.
Abstract
Measurements of differential photon + c jet and photon + b jet production cross sections are presented using approximately 1 fb-1 of data collected by the D0 detector at the Tevatron proton-antiproton collider at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV. Isolated photons are selected in the rapidity range |y| < 1.0 and jets selected with rapidities |y| < 0.8. The measurements are compared to next-to-leading order theoretical predictions.
